Lino Brems (2006) is an Amsterdam born and raised non-binary analogue photographer with Dutch-Caribbean roots. When their mom gave them a small Minox camera as a gift, Lino started photographing their daily life, friends and family. What began as a gift grew into a fascination in which Lino learned to develop their own rolls and make analog prints.
Lino experiments with different film stocks and lighting techniques, adapting to what feels right in the moment. Through their lens they show the life of a trans person in a way that is rarely represented in mainstream media. A celebration of trans joy and pride — visibility that feels more important now than ever.
